With the TikTok Connector you can report on the most important statistics of your TikTok account. It is about the paid campaigns of your account. To use this connector you can connect with your Google Account or just with your email. Both Logins will make an account in the Data Hub app.

The TikTok Connector has a template. The template has one page. On this page you can see all the total values of the most important metrics. There is a time serie where you can see the impressions & click over time, for the different campaigns. On the bottom there is a table the performance of the different ads.

How to connect the
TikTok data?

Step 1.
When you’ve selected the connector in Looker Studio, you need to authorize the use of the Looker Studio Connector.

Step 2.
The next step is to authorize the TikTok Connector.

Step 3.
Login to your TikTok account and make the connection.

Step 4.
When you’ve made the connection with Looker Studio you will see all the possible fields of data with a description of what they mean.

Step 5.
When you click on ‘make report’ you will connect the data to the template.

Metrics and Dimensions of the TikTok Connector

You can use the following metrics and dimensions to Looker Studio:

Date YEAR_MONTH_DAY The date in YYYYMMDD format in UTC time zone.
Username TEXT The username of the TikTok account.
Display name TEXT The display name for the TikTok account.
Profile image URL URL The temporary URL for the profile image of the TikTok account.
Profile image IMAGE The profile image of the TikTok account.
Total followers NUMBER The current total number of followers for the TikTok account.
Business account BOOLEAN Whether the TikTok account is a TikTok business account.
New followers NUMBER The net number of followers gained for the TikTok account on the specified day, which is calculated by subtracting the count of unfollowed users from the count of new followers. There can be up to a 24 to 48-hour delay for this information to become available.
Profile views NUMBER The total number of users who have viewed the TikTok account's profile on a specified day. There can be up to a 24 to 48-hour delay for this information to become available.
Video views (all) NUMBER The total number of times the TikTok account's videos have been viewed on a specified day. There can be up to a 24 to 48-hour delay for this information to become available.
Likes NUMBER The total number of likes across videos posted by the TikTok account on a specified day. There can be up to a 24 to 48-hour delay for this information to become available.
Comments NUMBER The total number of comments across videos posted by the TikTok account on a specified day. There can be up to a 24 to 48-hour delay for this information to become available.
Shares NUMBER The total number of shares across videos posted by the TikTok account on a specified day. There can be up to a 24 to 48-hour delay for this information to become available.
Video ID TEXT The unique identifier for the video.
Video creation time YEAR_MONTH_DAY_SECOND The date and time in YYYYMMDDHHmmss format when the video was posted.
Video thumbnail URL URL The temporary URL of the thumbnail for the video.
Video thumbnail IMAGE The thumbnail image for the video.
Video share URL URL The shareable URL for the video.
Video embed URL URL The embeddable URL for the video.
Video caption TEXT The caption/description for the video.
Video views (video) NUMBER The total number of views the video has received. There can be up to a 24 to 48-hour delay for this information to become available.
Video likes NUMBER The total number of likes the video has received. There can be up to a 24 to 48-hour delay for this information to become available.
Video comments NUMBER The total number of comments the video has received. There can be up to a 24 to 48-hour delay for this information to become available.
Video shares NUMBER The total number of times the video has been shared. There can be up to a 24 to 48-hour delay for this information to become available.
Video reach NUMBER The total number of unique viewers who viewed the video. This field might sometimes be unavailable when the video has not been active (viewed/liked/commented/shared) for more than 7 days. There can be up to a 24 to 48-hour delay for this information to become available.
Video duration NUMBER The duration of the video in seconds. There can be up to a 24 to 48-hour delay for this information to become available.
Video full watch rate PERCENT The percentage of viewers who viewed the whole video. This field might sometimes be unavailable when the video has not been active (viewed/liked/commented/shared) for more than 7 days. There can be up to a 24 to 48-hour delay for this information to become available.
Video total watch-time NUMBER The total watch-time for the video across all views in seconds. This field might sometimes be unavailable when the video has not been active (viewed/liked/commented/shared) for more than 7 days. There can be up to a 24 to 48-hour delay for this information to become available.
Video average watch-time NUMBER The average watch-time for the video across all views in seconds. This field might sometimes be unavailable when the video has not been active (viewed/liked/commented/shared) for more than 7 days.
